Maddie Olson, a junior at Sheldon High in Iowa, won the girls high jump with a 5-7 (1.70m) clearance on her first attempt at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Olson edged Taylor Jochum of Bishop Heelan on fewer attempts. Jochum made 5-6 (1.67m) on her third try, with Olson clearing her opening five heights on her first attempt.
